Welcome to Flowering Shrubs
Flowering Shrubs Nursery offers quality, affordable childcare in a safe, caring and friendly environment for children in North Cardiff and South Wales. We are registered for the 30 hour childcare offer in all of our settings.
Flowering Shrubs have embedded the Montessori Approach and the Reggio Emilia approaches to care and education. Both philosophies encourage independence and self expression with a desire to learn about the world around them. We strive to enhance their curiosity to develop themselves. We provide an enriched environment that supports independence and develops their innate curiosity and a thirst for ‘lifelong love of learning.’
Our aim is to provide the best quality childcare for all children attending.
Established in 2007, we provide playgroups, wraparound services and after school clubs, run by qualified staff, for children aged 12 months to 12years old.
Our recently opened After School Club in the new St Mellon’s CiW School offers a much needed provision for the new village community in St Ederyn’s.
Working closely with Rhydypenau and St Mellon’s CiW Primary Schools we provide a variety of childcare solutions for each school.
We are delighted to have been awarded “The Gold Standard Healthy Snack Award Plus”.
All staff are DBS checked.
